1. Scope

This policy applies to the NimbusVPN Android app, the nimbusvpn.tech website, and NimbusVPN backend API and VPN infrastructure used by the app.

2. Data We Process

To provide VPN service, the app may send a generated app-specific device identifier, selected server ID, and selected protocol.

Our backend and hosting providers may process technical request metadata for security, abuse prevention, and operations.

3. Analytics, Advertising, and Diagnostics

NimbusVPN uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Meta App Events in the Android app.

The Android app may also use Clever Ads Solutions (CAS.AI), Google AdMob, and mediated advertising networks to deliver ads and measure ad performance.

On nimbusvpn.tech, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand page performance, user journeys, and usability issues.

Where a consent interface is shown, some optional analytics features may depend on the user's choice.

These services may process device/app identifiers, cookies, Google Advertising ID, ad impressions, app interaction events, or event data according to their own privacy policies.

Ads are controlled remotely and may be disabled for all users or for specific device or version groups.

4. VPN Traffic Handling

NimbusVPN routes traffic through encrypted VPN tunnels using XRay/VLESS or WireGuard.

We do not intentionally inspect or profile browsing content for advertising purposes.

We do not use VPN traffic contents, browsing history, DNS queries, or visited websites for ad targeting.

5. Why We Process Data

We process data to provide and secure service, improve reliability, and maintain service integrity.

• measure usage and performance
• deliver ads, enforce frequency control, and prevent ad fraud where advertising is enabled
• enforce anti-abuse and service integrity
• deliver update, version policy, and advertising policy logic
• understand website usage and usability where analytics are enabled

6. Third-Party Processors

NimbusVPN uses third-party providers including Firebase, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, CAS.AI, Google AdMob, mediated ad networks, Google Analytics, and Google Play services. Their processing is governed by their own policies.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We share limited technical, analytics, or advertising-related data with listed providers only to operate, secure, analyze, monetize, and improve the service.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide service, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.

Some data may remain in backups for a limited period.

9. Security

NimbusVPN uses industry-standard transport security and VPN protocols to protect data in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but safeguards are continuously improved.

10. App Permissions

NimbusVPN may request Android permissions required for VPN operation, split tunneling, notifications, and advertising measurement where available.

11. Children's Privacy

NimbusVPN is not directed to children under the age required by local law.

If you believe a child provided data in violation of law, contact us for review.

Because NimbusVPN uses technical identifiers, include your app Device ID when available to help locate records.

This policy may be updated from time to time.
